At the age of 10, as I grieved my father for almost 2nd year, my sister shared a little tip with me on dealing with my grief – “dad wrote a lot”, she said, “why don’t you take a fresh notebook, a pen/pencil and write everything that pains you?” I did, and I felt like the weight of the world lift off my shoulders, pouring into the journal all tears and sadness. Since then, writing became my personal therapeutic activity. It took several forms over the years, sometimes as journals, snippets, poetry, or stories written on paper or digital docs or here in published/unpublished posts. My passion for photography simply adds a little spice to it all, creating a visual perspective of my write-ups.
