hesitance stopped me.

A million words to say,
rejection scared me.

A million words to say,
ego dwindled,
ignorance blinded me.

A million words to say,
I had no time,
chasing wild dreaams with no thought.

A million words to say,
their reaction was uncertain,
fear stopped me.

A million words to say,
here I am on my death bed,
no voice left,
just a touch,
holding hands that I can squeeze,
hoping my eyes can say them all.

A million words to say,
only a few on my grave,
none the ones I could say at last.

A million words left unsaid.
